    RAINTREE SWIM & RACQUET CLUB

    2009 POOL RULES & REGULATIONS

     

    1.      Members must present membership cards and sign in upon entering the pool area.

    2.      A guest, accompanied by a member, living in the Richmond area (within 25 mile radius of Raintree) may come once per month, and will be charged a $5 guest fee.  Guests outside of the Richmond area may get a pass for $15 for the week.  Pool members and their guests may use the pool area, volleyball, pool locker rooms and the restaurant.

    3.      All persons who are using chairs, sunning, or swimming must pay the guest fee and be signed in.  Guest fees on May 26, July 4, and Sept. 1 are $8/day. (special party days)

    4.      Any children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by person over 13 years of age.

    5.      No flotation devices, masks, or radios are permitted in the pool area.  Goggles will be permitted in the 5’ and under areas.  (Flotation devices worn by small children are acceptable in the adult pool within arm’s reach of an adult.) * This does not include special Friday Float Nights.

    6.      Horseplay is not allowed.  Diving is permitted only in the deep end (12-ft area).  Inwards and Gainers are not allowed.  Only one person at a time on the diving boards.  No swimming in the diving area while diving is allowed.  Persons must be at least 8 years old for the high dive. (No Exceptions)  No jumping to parents.

    7.      No glass allowed anywhere on pool deck.  No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the pool area due to ABC regulations. You may bring food and sodas to the pool deck;  however you may not bring any alcoholic beverages to the pool deck or anywhere on club grounds.

    8.      During adult swims the 3’ section will remain open for children under 6 years old.  The diving area will remain open for others.

    9.      Management will close the pool under threatening weather conditions or for other health hazards.  IF THERE IS THREATENING WEATHER CALL RAINTREE TO BE SURE THE POOL IS OPEN.

    10.    THREE WHISTLE BLASTS MEAN, “CLEAR THE POOL IMMEDIATELY”

    11.    The Health Department requires children who are not toilet trained to wear health approved swimsuit diapers or approved rubber/plastic pants.  Disposable swim pants for sale $2.

     

    NO TENNIS BALLS ALLOWED IN POOL AREA!

     

     

    The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
